Wright State earns 73-68 win over Purdue Fort Wayne

FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP) — Michael Imariagbe had 19 points and 16 rebounds in Wright State’s 73-68 victory over Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday night.

Kellen Pickett added 14 points for the Raiders (16-9, 11-3 Horizon League). Michael Cooper finished with 13 points.

Corey Hadnot II finished with 22 points, five assists and two steals for the Mastodons (14-11, 8-6). Mikale Stevenson added 17 points for Purdue Fort Wayne. DeAndre Craig also had eight points.

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — Hussain Williams and Demariontay Hall both scored 12 points to help Coppin State hold off South Carolina State 59-57 on Monday. Williams also grabbed five rebounds for the Eagles (6-21, 4-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Hall made 5 of 7 shots from the field and 2 of 6 from the free-throw line. Jamari Piercy shot 3 of 4 from the field and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line to finish with 11 points. Piercy sank two foul shots with 13 seconds left for a two-possession lead.
