WATCH: President Trump delivers speech to joint session of Congress

President Donald Trump, for the first time of his second term, spoke before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night. Trump set the record for the longest speech in front of a joint Congress, ending just after 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

Trump touched on the economy, issues at the southern border, promises he’s kept — including reducing government spending and eliminating DEI programs — and much more.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed to FOX News the theme of the speech was the “Renewal of the American Dream.”

Within the first 15 minutes of the speech, Democratic Texas Rep. Al Green was removed for disrupting the president by yelling that Trump has “no mandate” to cut Medicaid.
