WTOP Entertainment Reporter Jason Fraley wishes a happy 80th birthday to iconic singer-songwriter Barry Manilow, who was born on June 17, 1943. Manilow is currently performing a residency in Las Vegas where you’ll hear hits like “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs” and “Copacabana.” He briefly spoke to Jason in 2015 for what was then thought to be his farewell tour at the Verizon Center, now called Capital One Arena in Washington D.C..
