Teenager hospitalized after shooting in Culmore area of Fairfax Co.

Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, are still looking for the suspects in a shooting that wounded a 14-year-old boy.

It happened near Bellview and Glen Carlyn drives in the Culmore area of Falls Church on Monday. Police found the teenager wounded with life-threatening injuries.

He remains in the hospital Tuesday night.

Initially, Fairfax County police said on Twitter that two men were seen fleeing the scene. In a news release Tuesday, they described the suspects as “teenagers wearing jeans and dark-colored hoodies.” Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.
