2 teens stabbed inside Walmart in Fairfax Co.

Two teenagers are hurt after being stabbed inside a Hybla Valley Walmart on Friday evening, and police in Fairfax County, Virginia, say two suspects are in custody. Fairfax County police reported to the Walmart located in the 7900 block of the Richmond Highway around 5:40 p.m. The stabbing happened after a brawl allegedly broke out inside the store, WTOP’s news partners at 7News reported. Two teens, a boy and a girl, were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials confirmed to WTOP that the teenage boy suffered life-threatening injuries. The teenage girl has non-life-threatening injuries.

According to authorities, the suspects and the victims knew each other and this was not a random act, but further details into the cause of the incident have not been released. The two suspects are currently in custody and awaiting charges.
