1 dead in Prince George’s Co. shooting, police say

Prince George’s County Police said that one man was killed in a fatal parking lot shooting in Coral Hills, Maryland, near the District’s border. Police said it happened after 6 p.m. in the 4100 block of Southern Avenue.



Officers said they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot. The person was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. Former Prince George’s County Planning Board chair sues county, top leaders

The now former chair of the Prince George’s County Planning Board is suing the county, as well as County Executive Aisha Braveboy and County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha. Darryl Barnes, a former state delegate, resigned after roughly 10 months in his new job, but said the resignation was made under duress and that his first amendment and due process rights were violated.
