Man killed in Prince George’s County Domino’s Pizza shooting

Prince George’s County Police said a man has been killed at a Domino’s Pizza in Forrestville, Maryland.

It happened Thursday around 5:45 p.m. on the 2900 block of Donnell Drive near the intersection of Marlboro Pike.



Police found a man on the sidewalk who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Our news partners at NBC Washington report that the shooter and victim were coworkers. Police did not confirm or deny a relationship between the two.

Police say that they do not believe what happened was random, and they are working to establish a suspect and motive. Anyone with information should call police at 866-411-TIPS.

Former Prince George’s County Planning Board chair sues county, top leaders

The now former chair of the Prince George’s County Planning Board is suing the county, as well as County Executive Aisha Braveboy and County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha. Darryl Barnes, a former state delegate, resigned after roughly 10 months in his new job, but said the resignation was made under duress and that his first amendment and due process rights were violated.
