Four people were shot in Southwest D.C. near Nationals Park and suffered injuries on Saturday night. Two of the victims are teenagers.
D.C. police responded to a reported shooting at O and Half streets in Southwest around 11:50 p.m. Initially, officials said they responded to three calls for emergency medical services that stretched from the Navy Yard Metro station to Potomac Avenue SE.
Police said a 16-year-old girl was found after being shot in the 100 block of P Street SW. Fire and EMS officials said early Sunday morning that she was seriously injured, but expected to recover.
A man was found shot on Potomac Avenue with a graze wound, according to police. Two others, a man and a 17-year-old boy, were injured near Navy Yard station, D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Vito Maggiolo told WTOP.
All four victims were transported to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries.
On Sunday, the Metropolitan Police Department released still frames from surveillance footage showing the suspects.
