Karaoke bar to open at The Wharf

A karaoke bar is slated to open later this year at The Wharf, the latest in an evolving mix of tenants at the mixed-use development on D.C.’s Southwest waterfront.

Live K Karaoke Bar plans to open this fall at 730 Maine Ave. SW, the Washington Business Journal has learned. The venue is slated to include private rooms and a main stage for customers to sing and dance to their favorite tunes, per a page for the bar on The Wharf’s website. It’s the type of entertainment-themed retail Hoffman-Madison Waterfront has been courting to generate more activity at the development, anchored by concert venue The Anthem.

I’ve reached out to representatives for the tenant and landlord and will update this post with additional information once I have heard back.
