1 dead, 5 injured in Southwest DC shooting

A woman is dead, and five others were injured following a shooting in Southwest D.C. Friday night.

Temika Johnson, 35, of Southwest D.C., was killed in the shooting that happened just before 11 p.m. on Forrester Street in the Bellevue neighborhood, according to D.C. police.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman  on the ground, unconscious and not breathing. A second woman and four men were also wounded and sent to the hospital for injuries sustained in the shooting.

Police are searching for a Silver Honda sedan spotted at the scene.

D.C. police are offering a $25,000 rewards to anyone who provides information about the shooting that leads to an arrest or conviction. Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411.
