Missing Anne Arundel Co. siblings safely returned

Two Maryland children missing since Friday have been returned safely to their guardian, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, police said Monday morning. Siblings Kahmora and Osiris Lively ran away from Annapolis Middle School on Friday, Sept. 17. At the time, the department said it believed the pair to still be in the Annapolis area. Early Monday, police confirmed on Twitter that the siblings had been located unharmed.

Anne Arundel, Maryland, man sentenced to three years for bank fraud

BALTIMORE (AP) — A Maryland man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for his part in a scheme in which he and co-conspirators opened bank accounts using stolen identifications, then quickly withdrew money obtained through stolen or altered checks. Federal prosecutors say 32-year-old Erwin Boateng of Glen Burnie was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release.
