Three young children who were believed to have been abducted in the Roanoke, Virginia, area have been found, police said Wednesday afternoon.

The Amber Alert that was issued for them has been canceled.

According to the Roanoke County Police Department, the three young kids were “safely located,” and their mother, 35-year-old Ruby Allison, is in police custody.

Cameron and Emma Allison — who are both 6 years old — and their 1½-year-old brother Colin Allison were reportedly with their mother when she was pulled over in South Carolina.

Just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, the children’s father, 34-year-old John Allison, turned himself in to Roanoke County police.

The three children were believed to have been taken by their parents around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Roanoke area. They were believed to be in extreme danger, police said.

Police said when Roanoke County Social Services tried to serve a court-ordered child removal for the kids, John Allison refused to share their location or give CPS access to the kids.
