On the road episode: Alberto Tasca d’Almerita is the 8th generation of a Sicilian winemaking family who was just awarded European winery of the year

In this On The Road episode, I had the opportunity to catch up with Alberto Tasca, the managing director of his mulit-generation winemaking family, who was recently in San Francisco to receive Wine Enthusiast’s European Winery of the Year. Since 2000, Alberto has been dedicated to leading his family’s efforts in sustainable farming and advancing the quality of wine production from their esteemed estate, Tenuta Regaleali. Today, Tasca d’Almerita is producing some of the best wines in Italy from several of his family’s Sicilian estates. Drink in this special “On The Road” episode with Alberto.
