The Senate formally accepted articles of impeachment Thursday following a vote in the House on Wednesday and impeachment manager Adam Schiff read the articles of impeachment aloud.

Later, the chief justice of the United States arrived Thursday at the U.S. Senate to preside over President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, and swore in all 100 senators.

The swearing-in came after the Senate officially accepted the articles of impeachment from the House and heard the articles read aloud by the impeachment managers.
