WASHINGTON — The D.C. police are looking for two suspects in a brazen car theft at a gas station that was caught on camera. In the video released by D.C. police, the driver of a black Mercedes is seen exiting her car, which was parked at a gas pump at an Exxon gas station in Southeast D.C. Within seconds, two men in a red Lexus pull up next to the Mercedes. The passenger in the Lexus gets out and crouches by the Mercedes’ driver’s side door before sliding into the car and driving off — with the gas nozzle still attached and the hose trailing behind it. The red Lexus is seen following behind. The woman told police she was about to pump gas into her vehicle when it was stolen, according to a police report. Police said the unarmed carjacking happened about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Exxon gas station at 12th and Pennsylvania Avenue in Southeast D.C. See video below:
