WASHINGTON — One man is in the hospital after a tractor-trailer hauling TVs overturned near Gaithersburg, Maryland, Wednesday night.

Pete Piringer, a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, first reported about the incident around 11:15 p.m.

According to Piringer’s tweets, the 18-wheeler’s fuel tank ruptured and hazmat crews responded to the scene.

One man was sent to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He is expected to be OK.

The westbound I-370 ramp to southbound Interstate 270 reopened at around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, after it had been closed for through the morning for hours.
