Prosecutors said that Paire and the teen girl exchanged phone numbers in October 2017, and that he twice texted the girl asking to meet up for sex. The teen declined, authorities said. Later that month while the girl was in the school’s computer lab after school, Paire showed up and asked her to engage in a sex act.
Prosecutors said the girl briefly did but stopped because she was afraid of getting caught. Later, she told school officials about the inappropriate encounter, and they notified D.C. police.
Police said Paire initially denied the accusation but then admitted engaging in a sexual act with the teen. He was arrested in February.
