7 injured in Montgomery Co. crash

WASHINGTON — Seven people, including a woman with life-threatening injuries, are in the hospital after a car crashed into a pole in Montgomery County Saturday afternoon.

It happened at around 1:45 p.m. on Montrose Parkway.

One woman was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Four of those involved in the crash are children. Their injuries are not thought to be serious, according to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman.

Some lanes were blocked on Montrose Parkway between Montrose Road and E. Jefferson Street/ Executive Boulevard.
