WASHINGTON — A Herndon, Virginia, man is wanted for multiple charges, including abduction, and police said he may have already left the area.
Fairfax County police said Osman Osman, 37, may have traveled to New York City after assaulting and “temporarily abducting” his child and wife on Saturday, March 24 in Chantilly, Virginia.
Now, detectives aren’t sure where he is, police said in a statement Friday.
Osman is wanted for two counts of abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is also wanted for two counts of assault on a family member, a protective order violation and transporting a firearm while subject to a protective order, police added.
Police describe Osman as 5-foot-11, about 200 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
Police are also asking those who see him to immediately call 911 and to avoid him because they believe he may be armed and dangerous.
