Man dead after Greenbelt shooting

WASHINGTON — A man is dead in Prince George’s County, Maryland, after a shooting Saturday night.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Breezewood Court and Spring Hill Lane in Greenbelt.

Police responded to a report of gunshots when, as they were checking the area, they received another call of an injured person in the 6100 block of Breezewood Court.

They found a man who was shot and performed CPR on him. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
