$9M Kalorama home is DC area’s most expensive February sale

WASHINGTON — The most expensive residential real estate sale in the D.C. region in February was a six-bedroom Kalorama mansion that sold for $9 million, $975,000 less than its original list price.

The 6,800-square-foot property at 2430 Wyoming Avenue Northwest was built in 1926. It had a  recent top-to-bottom renovation and boasts a double lot, pool, library and billiards room.

Seven of the 10 most-expensive residential sales in the D.C. area last month were in the District itself.
