WASHINGTON — Despite’s Thursday’s cloudy and sprinkly forecast, this month has the potential be one of the warmest Februarys the region has ever seen.
As of Feb. 22, February 2018 will end up being the third warmest February on record for the region. Storm Team4 meteorologist Chuck Bell says the average temperature for the month will come to a toasty 46.2 degrees.

The warmest February was last year, at an average of 47.7 degrees. The second warmest February was in 1976 at 46.9 degrees.
