WASHINGTON — A man is in critical condition after a shooting in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Wednesday morning. Police responded to the 9000 block of Ballard Lane in Clinton — near the intersection of Branch Avenue and Woodyard Road — around 2:40 a.m. They found a man with gunshot wounds lying in the middle of the road. He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.
