WASHINGTON — Winter is back, and it’s making its presence known once again. Although Sunday won’t be as windy as Saturday, wind chills will remain in the single digits through the day. Here’s a look at what the temperature feels like throughout the D.C. area:

Although wind chill temperatures are bitterly cold, there will be a good amount of sunshine on Sunday. The winds should calm after 4 p.m. This is how wind chill temperatures will compare to actual temperatures throughout Sunday:

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, dress warmly if you are attending events, such as the parade. While wind chills won’t be an issue on Monday, Storm Team 4 meteorologist Lauryn Ricketts said the temperatures will be lower than what is normal this time of year. Meteorologists are monitoring a clipper system coming out of the Great Lakes area and heading toward the mid-Atlantic, bringing a chance of snow on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

• Sunday: Mostly sunny, brisk and breezy. Winds may reach 20 mph. Temperatures in the upper 20s.
• Monday: Mostly sunny, cold, not windy. Temperatures in the low 30s.
• Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, chance of snow late night. Temperatures in the 30s.
