Teenager dies in Northeast DC shooting

WASHINGTON — A teenager died and two others were injured in a shooting in Northeast D.C. Friday afternoon.

D.C. police said there was a shooting around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Riggs Road and Chillum Place.

Emergency crews transported three people to the hospital. Seventeen-year-old Davon Fisher, of Northeast, was killed. The two other victims have injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police said they do not have any information about a suspect at this time. Anyone with information on the shooting should call the police at 202-727-9099.
