Police: Body found in Silver Spring creek

WASHINGTON — Montgomery County police are investigating a body found in a creek in Silver Spring, Maryland, Monday.

The body was found around 1 p.m. in a creek on the 700 block of Symphony Woods Drive in White Oak.

A public information officer confirmed that it is not the body of Danny DeHaven, a 65-year-old man from Prince George’s County, who has been missing since. Jan. 2.

This is an ongoing investigation.
