WASHINGTON – If you would like to take in the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, but prefer to avoid the inevitable traffic mess – you’re in luck. The White House is providing a livestream of the event, so you can watch it comfortably from afar.

The ceremony is set to start at 4:30 p.m., and will include several musical acts. The event will also be televised on the Hallmark Channel on Dec. 4.
