WASHINGTON — A mother and a son are dead in Prince George’s County, and police are investigating it as murder-suicide. It happened Saturday in the 1700 block of Countrywood Court in Landover, Maryland. A relative called police around 10 p.m. to check on the welfare of a woman. Police arrived and found a 34-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy dead. Police identified the mother as 34-year-old Yu Song. Her son was named Joseph Wang. Both lived in Glen Burnie, a suburb of Baltimore. Both were pronounced dead on the scene and both died of asphyxiation. The woman is the mother of the juvenile.
