Man found dead outdoors in Waldorf

WASHINGTON — A man was found dead outside in Waldorf, Maryland, Friday.

Officers responded to the 13000 block of Zekiah Drive around 2 p.m. and found Saul David Armstrong, 46, of no fixed address, dead on the ground.

Police say Armstrong was lying in a grassy area between a school and Leonardtown Road.

Investigators say Armstrong had no signs of trauma to the body or foul play. Police believe Armstrong collapsed or intentionally lay on the ground to rest.

According to police, Armstrong was in the area overnight, but was not wearing adequate clothing for the cold.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Guns, 3D printer seized from 2 students after firearms found at Charles Co. high school

A 3D printer and multiple guns were seized by the Charles County Sheriff's Office in Maryland after two students brought firearms to school. The seizures stemmed from incidents on Wednesday and Thursday, when firearms were found at St. Charles High School in Waldorf.
