WASHINGTON — Prince William County Police say that a 16-year-old girl who was missing for most of Sunday has been found.
A spokesman for Prince William County Police said that Sinahi Aguilar-Cruz was found in a park in Woodbridge, Virginia, and is fine. Detectives are still investigating the incident and are working to determine whether or not a crime had been committed.
An Amber Alert had been issued in Maryland and Virginia for a possible child abduction after Aguilar-Cruz was believed to have been taken against her will. That Amber Alert has since been canceled.
Police said Aguilar-Cruz was last seen at a party with 21-year-old Roberto Medrano Segovia at 14807 Danville Rd, Woodbridge, Virginia, around 1:40 a.m. Sunday.
At some point, Aguilar-Cruz and Segovia got into an argument and separated. After Aguilar-Cruz left the home, witnesses said they saw her being forced into the car by Segovia.
Segovia is currently in custody.
Aguilar-Cruz was attending a party with the suspect before she went missing. At some point during the party, Aguilar-Cruz and the suspect got into an argument and separated. Later on, she exited the home and witnesses saw her being forced into the car by the suspect.
