Kendrick Lamar pop-up shop coming to Georgetown for a day

WASHINGTON — For one day, a Kendrick Lamar pop-up shop will be open in D.C.’s Georgetown neighborhood ahead of his concert at Verizon Center.

The D.C. pop-up opens July 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at UBIQ (3124 M St. NW). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for his concert at Verizon Center that same day, with openers D.R.A.M. and Travis Scott.

A string of pop-up shops will follow the rapper on his massive North American tour for his latest album,” DAMN.”, which kicked off this week and lasts into September.

The Grammy winner teased the pop-up announcement last Friday on Twitter and made it official Monday. In some cities, such as New York City and Los Angeles, pop-up shops will be open several days.
