Washington Wizards Eastern Conference Semifinals schedule

WASHINGTON — The Washington Wizards advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals after Friday’s 115-99 win over Atlanta to win the best of seven series, four games to two, in the opening round of the postseason.

[related_gallery align=”right”]The fourth-seeded Wizards are returning to the second round of the playoffs for the third time in the last four seasons.

Washington will now face top-seeded Boston, who advanced after their 105-83 win over Chicago Friday to win their best of seven, four games to two, with Game One taking place Sunday, April 30, at 1 p.m. from TD Garden.

The Wizards’ first two home games of the second round are on Thursday, May 4, and Sunday, May 7, at 8 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Verizon Center.

During the regular season, the Wizards and Celtics tied the 2016-17 regular season series with a 2-2 record.
