Founder of the J. Geils Band has died at age 71

WASHINGTON — Multiple media outlets have reported that John Warren Geils Jr., founder and guitarist of The J. Geils Band, has died. He was 71.

The J. Geils Band were behind hits such as “Centerfold” and “Freeze Frame.”
