WASHINGTON — A woman was killed and a man is in the hospital with life-threatening injures in an apparent domestic stabbing in Prince William County, Virginia.

Prince William County Police responded to a call in the 7300 block of Forrester Lane in Manassas on Friday at around 6:30 p.m. They found a man and a woman with injures to the body. The female victims died as a result of her injuries. The man has been transported to a hospital.

Police say the crime does not appear to be random. The investigation is ongoing.
