Retired Gen. Kelly to be nominated as homeland security secretary

WASHINGTON — Retired Marine Gen. John Kelly is expected to be nominated as Secretary of Homeland Security, CBS News reports.

Kelly, 66, retired in February as chief of the U.S. Southern Command.

He has served more than 40 years in the military.
