Officials: Culpeper homeowner kills alleged intruder

CULPEPER, Va. (AP) — Officials say a homeowner fatally shot an alleged intruder in Culpeper County.

The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office tells local news media outlets that the incident on Thursday remains under investigation.

Officials have not released the name of the alleged intruder or the homeowner.

Deputies canvassed the Woodland Church Road area to determine whether any other suspects were in the area and found none.
