1 dead, 2 injured from crash in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON — A man has died after a car crash in Prince George’s County, officials said.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Berry Road in Accokeek, Maryland.

Police said an SUV and another car were attempting to turn left onto Berry Road, when they hit a car traveling northbound on Route 210.

One man was pronounced dead on scene. Drivers of the SUV and the other car attempting a left turn were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

Police said Route 210 at Berry Road would be closed until about 5:30 a.m.

The investigation is underway.
