WASHINGTON — The Nationals came back to beat the Dodgers, 5-2, in Game 2 of their National League Divisional Series Sunday at Nationals Park to even the series 1-1.

The Nats trailed early 1-0 in the first inning after Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager hit a solo home run, his second of the series. Seager became the youngest Dodger to homer in the postseason at 22 years, 163 days in Friday’s Game 1 of the best-of-five.

Tanner Roark lasted just  4 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs, on 7 hits with one strikeout. But Marc Rzepczynski, Sammy Solis, Blake Treinen, Oliver Perez, and Mark Melancon would combine to allow just one hit in 4 2/3 shutout innings of relief, with Treinen earning the victory.

Jose Lobaton and Daniel Murphy accounted for all the Nationals’ offense. Lobaton’s three-run homer in the 4^th gave the Nats their first lead of the afternoon at 3-2, and Murphy’s RBI singles in the 5^th and 7^th innings provided all the insurance the home team would need to even the series.

It’s a quick turnaround for Game 3, with a 4 p.m. ET start Monday in Los Angeles. Gio Gonzalez is slated to start for the Nationals opposite the Dodgers’ Kenta Maeda.
