Ride On bus driver pinned in crash involving truck

WASHINGTON — A Ride On bus driver was pinned in the wreckage of a crash that left multiple people hurt in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on Saturday afternoon.

The crash involved a bus and truck that overturned in the 7600 block of Muncaster Mill Road, according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer.

Piringer said five people were on the bus. He said the driver’s injuries were serious but not-life threatening. Two people were hopsitalized.

The road is closed at Laytonia Drive.

It was still unclear what led to the crash.
