Red Line trains single tracking due to arcing insulator

WASHINGTON — Metro’s Red Line service is now single tracking between Judiciary Square and Farragut North stations after it was previously suspended Sunday night.

Fire crews are investigating reports of an arcing insulator at Metro Center, a Metro spokesperson said.

Metro service is expected to switch to single tracking service soon. Buses have been requested to the suspended areas.
