Early morning crash causes road closure at Pennsylvania Ave.

WASHINGTON—Pennsylvania Avenue’s southbound lanes were closed at Parkland Drive in Prince George’s County, Maryland, early Sunday morning.

Police were investigating a crash that killed two people. Prince George’s County police said two cars were involved in an accident around 1:15 a.m. A man and woman in one of the cars died and the driver of another car was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The roads were reopen by 8:30 a.m.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
