Police seek additional victims in concert scam that may include Adele, Drake shows

WASHINGTON — Howard County police want to hear from other possible victims of a Manassas man they believe to be a counterfeiter who is charged with theft.

Shannon Michael Seeber, 34, had fraudulent tickets to concerts for Adele, Drake, and Barbra Streisand in his possession when arrested, police said.

Howard County police say Seeber met up with a Craigslist customer in Elkridge, Maryland, to sell him fraudulent tickets to a Black Sabbath performance at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, on Aug. 21. When the customer contacted Ticketmaster and learned the tickets were fake, he called police.

Charges against Seeber include forgery and possession of false government identification.

When arrested, Seeber was in possession of several templates for United States Identification Badges, police said in addition to suspected illegal drugs and a handgun.

Seeber is free on $35,000 bond.

Anyone who believes Seeber may have sold them fake concert tickets is being asked to contact Howard County Police at 410-313-2200.
