Local energy companies report several thousand outages

WASHINGTON — Pepco and Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. are reporting multiple outages throughout the area during Saturday night’s stormy weather event.

Pepco is reporting 350 customers in Southwest and Southeast D.C. that are in the dark.

BGE is reporting power outages for about 1,300 customers throughout Howard County and another 230 customers in Anne Arundel County.

Pepco and BGE say their crews are working on repairs.

Previously, Dominion Virginia Power reported 950 customers in Culpeper County without service late Saturday night.
