Prince George’s Co. police investigate death of Md. woman

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County police are investigating a homicide in Landover Hills, Maryland.

Landover Hills police responded to a welfare check call at about 6 p.m. Friday on the 4000 block of 71st Avenue, Prince George’s County police said. They found Lenise Fredericks, 62, suffering from trauma inside her home. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects or a motive had been identified, police said.
