Man dies in early-morning Woodbridge shooting

WASHINGTON — A man was shot and killed early Monday morning in Woodbridge.

Prince William County police say they found Johnnie Kamara, 23, of Maryland, suffering from a gunshot wound on Golansky Boulevard, near Smoketown Road, around 2:30 a.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police have not released any information on a suspect yet. They’re asking anyone with information to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-411-TIPS. Callers do not have to give their name and could earn up to a $1,000 cash reward.
