Police clear scene after bomb threat investigtion at Annapolis Mall

WASHINGTON — Police have cleared the scene at Annapolis Mall after a bomb threat investigation Saturday afternoon.

The investigation impacted the food court area and spurred evacuations. Police said no device was found and began to clear the scene at around 5 p.m.

U.S. Naval Academy graduates who participated in the fifth in-person swearing event Wednesday in Annapolis, Maryland, got a surprise flyover visit. The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, flew over Bancroft Hall as the midshipmen sang the "Navy Blue and Gold."
