Power restored to more than 1,000 in Md.

UPDATE 3/31/2016 9:15 a.m.: Pepco says the outages have been mostly repaired; they’re down to 43 outages.

EARLIER: WASHINGTON – More than 1,000 people are without power in Montgomery County on Thursday morning.

PEPCO is reporting about that about 1,100 customers are without electricity in Olney.

It’s unclear at this time what is causing the outage; crews are en route to the area to assess the problem.
