Md. family displaced after SUV crashes into home

WASHINGTON — A family was displaced Christmas Eve after an SUV crashed into their home in Montgomery County, Maryland. The crash happened around 11 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West Deer Park Road, near Duvall Lane. One adult and one child were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire & Rescue said the driver lost control while parking the SUV, jumped a curb and crashed into the house. The building was found unsafe to occupy.
