Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger dies

WASHINGTON  — Sandy Berger, Bill Clinton’s second-term national security adviser, has died, his firm says.

After leaving the Clinton administration he led an international advisory firm.

In 2005, he was fined $50,000 and ordered to serve community service after pleading guilty to illegally removing  classified documents from the National Archives.
