Montgomery County police investigate fatal cycle accident

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County police are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle rider.

Police say the collision happened shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday at Old Georgetown Road and Lone Oak Drive.

The motorcyclist, identified as Gary Seward, 52, was heading south on Old Georgetown Road when Barbara Ann Wilkerson, 85, of Bethesda, heading north on the same road, tried to turn left onto Lone Oak Drive. Seward died of his injuries.
